Today is Peter Dinlage's 45th birthday! I admit that I've never seen Game of Thrones, so I'm most acquainted with Dinklage's big screen work.
My favorite Dinklage performance, though, might be from the very first thing I saw him in. Thomas McCarthy's The Station Agent is one of my all time favorite movies, and I will be watching it today in celebration of Dinklage's 45th. He stars as a lonely train enthusiast named Fin who inherits a small train depot after his closest friend dies. Even though he only wants to be left alone, he can't keep away Patricia Clarkson and Bobby Cannavale. It's truly a gem of a movie.
If you haven't seen The Station Agent, check out the trailer below.
Bobby Canavale AND Peteydink (he hates it when I call him that)?! Yes please.
