Cumberbatch Decodes Mysteries in 'Imitation' Trailer

Benedict Cumberbatch will play Alan Turing in the upcoming drama, The Imitation Game.  Turing was a mathematician who was recruited to break Nazi codes during World War II.  His efforts led to an Allied victory.  The first handsome trailer for Imitation debuted today, and it looks like it's going to bring some high period drama.

The film also stars Keira Knightley (yeeeessss), Mark Strong, and the ever-sexy Matthew Goode.  The trailer definitely focuses on Cumberbatch's Turing, so we don't get a lot about them other than Knightley works with Turing.  Strong plays the man who recruits him, and Goode doesn't seem to want Turing around.

Turing was actually prosecuted for being gay in 1952, but his sexuality isn't hinted at in this trailer.  I wonder if his homosexuality is brought up in Imitation.  We shall see.  The film looks great though.
