'Miss Julie' Wipes Away Memories of Stuffy Drama Class

Do you remember reading August Strindberg's Miss Julie in class?  I read it in my Foundations of Modern Drama class in college, and I actually really loved it.  I don't think a lot of people responded to it as favorably as I did, but I was weird.  Liv Ullmann's latest incarnation of the classic stars Jessica Chastain and Colin Farrell.

Class, sexual politics and seduction are all brought up on this midsummer night, and this version of Miss Julie looks ravishing.  It looks as if we shall have another Chastain takeover, and you won't get any complaining from me.  It will have its world premiere at this year's Toronto International Film Festival.
